Technical Project Engineer (Civil)



• Design of civil and structural systems including reinforced concrete structures, steel frameworks, and site infrastructure (roads, drainage, water supply, sewer systems, etc.). • Perform and verify engineering calculations for all structural components of the project. • Prepare and review detailed engineering drawings and documentation using engineering software design programs such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Civil 3D. • Ensure all designs comply with applicable standards and specifications (TS, Eurocode, ACI, etc.). • Support the preparation of detailed drawings, material take-offs, and quantity estimations (BOQs). • Review and interpret geotechnical reports, and provide input on earthworks, excavation, and backfill operations. • Provide technical support to site teams and verify on-site works conform to approved drawings. • Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and architectural disciplines during the design and implementation phases. • Track design-related progress according to the master project schedule; report potential delays due to design approvals to the project management team. • Prepare regular design progress reports and technical documentation. • Manage and follow up technical approval processes with relevant authorities, consultants, or client representatives; revise designs accordingly when required. • Responsible of design, material assessment, procurement and execution of the projects • Support and control for submission of project technical specifications and datasheets in line with Employer requirements and local regulations. • Review Vendor design drawings and documentation • Technical evaluation of the quotations for equipment and systems. • Take over the execution of all vendor related activities including but not limited to project documentation, manufacturing, testing, construction and commissioning at site. • Submitting the correct and comprehensive construction drawings, start-up and commissioning procedures to the site team. • Attending customer and supplier technical meetings. • Participating Factory Acceptance Tests for critical equipment
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in industrial construction projects. • Advanced proficiency in project management software, particularly Autocad 3D (mandatory) and Revit, as well as MS Project. • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio. • Solid understanding of project design methodologies and industry-standard practices. • Fluency in English, both written and spoken. • Excellent communication and organizational abilities, with a proven capacity to work independently. • Willing and able to travel without restrictions. • Team player with strong communication skills • Able to take an active role on-site • Strong time management skills and solution-oriented. • Able to prepare technical reports and drawing documentation, and present them periodically to related authorities.
