Site Engineer (Electrical)
• Supervise and manage all electrical works at the construction site in accordance with project drawings, technical specifications, and quality standards. • Ensure installation, testing, and commissioning of MV/LV systems, transformers, switchgears, control panels, lighting, earthing, and cabling are executed as per standards. • Coordinate with civil and mechanical disciplines to ensure smooth interdisciplinary progress. • Review electrical layouts, single line diagrams, and termination drawings; report deviations or discrepancies. • Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure work progress aligns with the project schedule. • Conduct daily site inspections and prepare detailed progress and inspection reports. • Control material deliveries, ensure proper storage, and check installation according to approved material submittals. • Support the commissioning and energization activities under the supervision of the project management team. • Ensure that all activities at the site comply with the project’s HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) policies. • Communicate effectively with the head office engineering and procurement departments for technical clarifications and site requirements. • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering. • Minimum 5 years of proven experience in site installation and supervision of electrical works within industrial or energy infrastructure projects (such as compressor stations, substations, or power plants). • Solid understanding of MV/LV systems, grounding, lighting, cable management, and protection systems. • Familiar with relevant international standards (IEC, IEEE, EN, NFPA, etc.) and Turkish Electrical Regulations (TSE). • Ability to interpret and execute electrical drawings, BOQs, and installation procedures. • Experience with commissioning and pre-commissioning tests is an advantage. • Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD; experience with project planning tools (Primavera or MS Project) is a plus. • Strong analytical, coordination, and communication skills. • Good command of written and spoken English.
